WASHINGTON (CNS)—Here are the Catholics in the 111th Congress. Nonvoting delegates and the resident commissioner of Puerto Rico are not included.

There are 17 Catholic Senate Democrats and nine Catholic Senate Republicans in the 100-member body; 98 Catholic House Democrats and 38 Catholic House Republicans of the 435-member body. The 162 Catholic elected members represent 30.3 percent of the total 535 representatives.
