I want to tahnk you first of all for having such a site. It is interesting to read what others I thinking and doing. My family spends the Sabbath completely at rest. First we go to Mass at the local V.A. rest home. After some social time with the veterans after Mass, we either go to the St. Vincent de Paul food locker or to the St. Vincent de Paul Dining Room and help serve. Either way, it is a welcome break from work all week. In fact, it is so welcome, that we began doing our Sabbath activities after work during the week, too. It helps us unwind from the day. We are both teachers in high schools so we get a bit stressed at times. And the best part is, our children, ages 10 and 12, stay totally involved all day Sunday. They truly enjoy the activities and we have something extra in common.
