In what ways does your family observe the Sabbath?

Does anyone’s Parish have a Catholic Bible study? Womens Bible study groups are becoming quite popular where I live. Quite a few of my Catholic friends belong to Bible studies which are run mostly by fundamentalists or NonDenomination Churches. They are craving scripture and bible study but have no where else to turn.

Since our Catholic beliefs and interpretations of Scripture are somewhat different this concerns me. It also keeps me from joining them.

I have been reading a lot about the Catholic Bible mostly through American Catholics’ Scripture from scratch articles. I would love to attend a Catholic Bible study or start one but it seems like quite an undertaking since I do not know of one Catholic Church in my Diocese that has one.

Any comments or ideas?
