I always have felt luck to be part of a parish that opened its arms to not only other Christians, but to other religions as well. When my fiancee and I decided to get married, we wanted the church’s blessing. Although this was a Catholic-Hindu marriage, our Pastor was very open and compassionate to both of us and sincerely believed in the universiality of spirit and love. He made us feel loved by the Church. Many people preach universal love and acceptance, but few actually practice!
