Just having a priest or pastor take the time to get to know each individual parishoner shows how much his church community means to him. My Pastor knows me by name and after Mass, particularly this one day, came over and asked how I was doing. He seemed concerned that I wasn’t doing too well and told me I was in his prayers. A small gesture can mean a lot.
