It seems that your experience differs from mine. I went to an excellent college-prep Catholic high school and went to Catholic elementary schools. I always learned scripture. As a matter of fact, Freshman year religion was all Scripture teachings. May I remind you that the Mass is based on Scripture. It’s a shame that you’re lost.
