I too, had problems with the repetition of this prayer but on a sister site "Once Catholic" a priest gave me a very good answer. He spoke of the rosary as a means to get into a state of meditation to really pray and also if we do it right we are suppossed to be dwelling on the Mysteries of the rosary such as The Glorious Mysteries, Luminoius and the Joyful & Sorrowfull Mysteries that represent Christ’s life & death.
