What new power has been given to any parents to "bless" their children? God blesses - a priest may perform a blessing - a family can "bless" their food by saying grace before (and after) meals, but parents have no divine powers to bless anything. What has the Church come to when the pious family prayers have been replaced with some sort of neo-charismatic fantasy like this?
