God wants you as a parent to be respected (see the commandments)...you are a temple for God’s love, and of the Holy Spirit...that temple must be respected by you and others...what you did, based on what you said, was as it should be...respect yourself or others will not respect you...do it because of your love and respect for God...you did nothing wrong...
