You must try the best you can. You say you feel you have failed to please, to please who? God knows you are trying, he sees your plight and is giving you strength. In dealing with other people you must simply be yourself. Lastly, friends that have deserted you are truly not your best friends for best friends stick by you always. Perhaps they are afraid of something they don’t know, like your new awareness of God in your life. Assure them that is OK. Good luck in your search for yourself with God.
