Was there ever a time when you wandered off and lost your spiritual awareness? Who or what brought you back?

Best wishes on your confirmation. I pray that my family will come back to the Catholic Church and be confirmed and in some cases baptized. It is as if these sacraments are passe. I used to argue with them but to no avail. If anyone can give me advice in this area I will be grateful.
