I enjoyed Esau’s post very much. For me, in my prayer life, I believe with the Fathers and more recently, Mother Teresa, that Charity or selfless love is a direct result of prayer. And in responding to unpopular issues, I myself need this virtue more than the others because it reminds me to "see the Christ" in the others who may be not as ’charitable" towards me or my views.
