I am answering your post a bit late. It is wonderful that the diocese assisted you and your former husband is now your good friend. On the contrary for me, when I was in dire straits the Catholic Church turned a deaf ear and blind eye, thus the Jewish Federation helped me. For this I am forever grateful.
