I believe you can be in public education and still sow the Word by your actions. I’m blessed enough to be in a Catholic School but my friends teach in a public setting. Often their actions speak louder than words. One cannot force the Word on anyone, but when you people see our actions as honest, full of integrity, compassionate, going against the cultural grain, they become curious about why that is. Everything we do should be the Word in action. (Hey, none of us is perfect, but at least we try, right??) You can speak the Word in social settings, in the marketplace, in your family, in your perspectives on life. It becomes so much a part of you that the Word and your soul are inseparable!
