Have you asked them to be involved? All daughters want to please their father’s with their choice of spouse and especially on their wedding day. It helps that you are supportive of her choice of husband.

Being that he is divorced, may lie the problem with being married in a Catholic Church. Perhaps their decision to marry in Mexico was motivated by this? I know that the Catholic church requires individuals getting remarried in the church to have their first marriage annulled. All of this takes time, legwork and patience.

Probably the best thing to do is to relay your concerns and fears (in a non criticizing manner). Perhaps your daughter did want to marry in the Catholic church? If this is the case, my concern would be moreso why they feel rushed and cannot wait for an annulment.
