I decided as a young mother to give my career to the Lord. I got my children entered in a Catholic school, started substituting to pay off tuition and then I signed up for lifetime duty as a Catholic School teacher. I make lousy pay but the rewareds are terrific. The by-products are joy. Also a feeling that all my needs will be meet (so far I have 25 years of proof). I work with people who think much like I do about the quality of life. I get to meet new parents every year, many of whom become life long friends. It’s a job I never really grump about going to every day! I often feel like the luckiest woman on earth! Pretty powerful stuff.
