I do agree that young children should not watch National Lampoons, but at the same time we all know that the Norman Rockwell family does not exist. One of the values I can find in National Lampoons, is that holidays aren’t ever perfect...and if we build it up in our minds that it is going to have a Thomas Kinkade quality about it, then we are going to be severly disappointed. All families have some issues, if they say they don’t, then they live in denial. Everyone should know that Lampoon movies aren’t meant for very young eyes and ears. That is where parents need to use good judgement, and in this situation you obviously did.
