Well apart from what Brigid said - I too do care deeply how animals are treated - but race horses really are treated better than a lot of other animals - sure its due to the money they produce... but anyway; I think what value we can get from this movie is the very profound "run the race, pressing on, not looking back, stay the course, etc" portion of St. Paul’s epistle. Simply put there is dignity and character building in running this race called life. There is a great "cloud of witnesses" watching us and I have to say aws I watched the movie this is what I was thinking of - to run not caring if people say you don’t have what it takes... but you keep going. Sure it was sentamental but it had a spirituak truth in it as all of life does - that’s my thought anyway. Theresa
