Ivan, You write like a Bible Scholar! I like to think of the parable Jesus told about the Prodigal Son. I was blessed with a very forgiving earthly father, so I can only imagine the Loving Arms of the Father in Heaven....forgiving me and embracing me the same way the Progigal Son was embraced by his earthly father. Surely this is why Jesus told the story--to show us that the Father in Heaven is ready, willing and able to embrace us. I believe I am agreeing with you in my own way.

I think this discussion is a classic example of all the different ways we see the Father. I prefer to accept the images given to me by Jesus Himself.
