I don’t want my five year old children to think their dogs go to nothingness......of course I tell them that they themselves go into the loving arms of God. Santa Claus is very different from a loving pet who is almost like a member of the family. I’ve been in the God and Kid business for over 25 years. I know from experience that the children recieve great comfort from knowing that even their pets are in God’s loving arms. After all, HE created them in the first place. As the children grow they will realize a more mature view of the Beatific Vision....just as they will realize that Santa is just really about celebrating the birth of our Savior. Children have enough harsh realities without worrying about their dead pets! Of course, this is just my opinion.......Respectfully--sqwid
