Is this a Catholic web site or is it Sesame Street?

Why do we allow Disney to subject our children to a never-ending diet of cartoon movies where human situations and feelings and emotions are ascribed to animals? Doesn’t this skew their perceptions of reality at a very early age? Why has Environmentalism, animal activism, and practical paganism taken such a strong hold of the young? Where are the IMPORTANT situations in such movies? Why didn’t Simba attend Mass on Sundays, even those Sundays where he just didn’t feel like going? Did Ariel ever have to go to confession? In Ice Age we were treated to a lot of evolution theory, but where were the historical figures like Noah, or Adam and Eve?

Not that I have a problem with a little mindless entertainment now and then, but it’s the standard in today’s film industry. So the question is not so much "what values did you find" in any given number of these films, it’s "What real values were omitted or replaced."
