Does the military action the U.S. is contemplating against Iraq meet the standards of a just war?

I do not believe that He deisres for us to kill each other. I have no problems with Armies of Heaven, as that is surely His will. His instruments are easily Angels, pestilence, disasters, etc. He can easily strike down whomever He desires, whenever He desires, however He desires. I do not believe that he would pit his children, all of whom He loves, against each other. I do not believe that he would want us to downplay the sanctity of life. As children, we must implore our Father for justice; and act within the principles of Christianity.
I still say that there must be other pathways besides weapons and violence. And that we must seek His will above all. |
