Does the military action the U.S. is contemplating against Iraq meet the standards of a just war?

Dear Bruce

I’m picking on you! You mention something in this post that others have mentioned before, so sorry to use you as a scapegoat, BUT just because these events have been foretold doesn’t mean that they are God’s Will. The Great Apostasy has been foretold, but God surely doesn’t WANT souls to abandon His Church. God doesn’t WANT nations to be annihilated, although it has been foretold that this will happen. That doesn’t mean we’ve just got to sit back and watch it all occur without uttering a word of warning. We cannot justify our actions, or indifference, on the grounds that these events were foretold in the bible and therefore are God’s Will.

Many of them are in fact Man’s Will, which God has foretold.
