I think there is a split among Christians because many truly do not live the word of Jesus. It’s like many who attend church on Sunday, but do not live their faith the rest of the week. Jesus says to love, pray, treat others as you would want to be treated, love your enemy, etc..... He never said to defend, to fight, etc....on the contrary, even if we would suffer becuase of our faith.
