Does the military action the U.S. is contemplating against Iraq meet the standards of a just war?

Actually, that is what this war is all about. Do we allow the evil to continue or do we help to eradicate it where it exists? Try not to focus on the negative, Shoshana. Even in war God is working to bring about good. Consider how Christ is drawing many closer to Him even in the midst of what seems like chaos and confusion. God is in control. Always was, always will be. As St. Teresa of Avila prayed: "Let nothing disturb you. All things are passing. Only God is changeless." Have faith in Him. Do not be negative. Focus on the positive. All things work together for good for those who love Him.

Just a few days ago the newspaper had pictures of soldiers being baptized in the desert of Iraq. Yesterday there was a story of how Bibles there are being distributed to soldiers hungry for the Word of God. Maybe some of them will get into the hands of the many non-Christian people there. So, trust in Him. Perhaps this is His way of bringing more people to know His Son, Jesus. Wouldn’t that be a miracle . . . to have more of the Muslim population be exposed to the Savior of the world and His message of peace and redemption?
