I am fervently hoping that this IS a joke. I remember the Yorkshire Ripper believed God had chosen him too. He was finally caught after murdering - if I remember correctly - his thirteen victim. One should be very careful about attributing one’s own motives to God. It smacks of extreme arrogance or derangement.
