Does the military action the U.S. is contemplating against Iraq meet the standards of a just war?

Hi,
Are you trying to make us feel guilty?
Is Bishop John Michael Botean threatening those who, in their conscience, believe that this war is just, that they have committed a mortal sin? I wonder whether Bishop Botean is playing the role of God, declaring that we have lost the salvation of our souls. Has he presumed that he has this gift of infallibility given to the Vicar of Christ only when he proclaims matters of faith and morals ex cathedra?

If his condemnation is true, then I feel extremely depressed, because some 70% Americans and others in other parts of the world are going to hell for what they truly believe,
