Does the military action the U.S. is contemplating against Iraq meet the standards of a just war?

There were thousands of protesters in Philadelphia today and there were no reports of arrests on our local news. Id like to know the charges and the accuracy of the charges before you condemn.
I think the inherent issue here is that society has rules. The UN applied sanctions and they were not enforced. When you dont enforce the rules, the person or persons continue to break them because there is no punishment. How can a child take their parent seriously if the parent doesnt enforce the rules. When the rules are enforced, the only people that tend to cry about it are the ones who break the rules or the laws that are in place.
Anyone can protest the war. Just dont violate the law and the rules for peaceful protests. |
