Does the military action the U.S. is contemplating against Iraq meet the standards of a just war?

Is this your democratic society at work? Police arrested about 75 monks, priests, rabbis and other clergy in San Francisco on Friday who were protesting the war as unjust.

From Yahoo News: A federal official said 83 people were arrested. "This is an extremely broad movement against the war, a movement that transcends all religions," said attorney Kevin Lynema, who was offering legal assistance to the demonstrators.

Is arresting people a proper way to illustrate how just this war is? Are our leaders also leading our society into a state of totalitarianism where difference will not be tolerated. How can we show support for our religious convictions and leaders and not wind up in jail?
