Does the military action the U.S. is contemplating against Iraq meet the standards of a just war?

Nik says "If we want to protect our society and help extinguish American hatred (leading obviously to the sinister terrorist attacks) then we must defeat our ennemies..."

HOW are you going to do that, Nik? Bomb them out of existence? Will you get them all? No, you won’t. You will merely create more "sinister terrorist attacks". Does that mean you should do nothing? NO, it does not. We SHOULD be attacking the causes of terrorism. WHY do we not?

So, Littleflower, when Nik asks God to bless America, and exhorts the Holy Virgin Mary to "hear our prayers for justice", one has to ask oneself, what kind of "justice" is he asking Her for? We should pray with open minds and hearts, and ask for GOD’s justice, not our own brand. We should all remember how easy it is for us to be manipulated (and OF COURSE I include myself in this) and it behoves us to be suspicious of our leaders’ motives until there is no room left for doubt.

We are in the hands of the media. And the media is in the hands of??
