Dear Catholic:

You said it all. People "only choose what they like to hear." and we refuse to hear what the entire world is saying to us. We follow our Pope when he says something with which we agree BUT when he challenges us as Christians, that is, followers of Christ, we tend to ignore him. We will probably win this war but I hope our negative actions will not destroy our eternal soul in the process.
