Does the military action the U.S. is contemplating against Iraq meet the standards of a just war?

If you claim to be Christian how can you be so concerned about the Pope’s comments? They are true Christian comments. What did Christ do when one of his disciples attempted to draw a sword against Christ’s enemy ... at His arrest?

Can you claim Christianity and not follow Christ? obey ALL of His teachings? follow His example?

You also seem to have your facts mixed up. Where did you obtain them? How reliable is your information? Can you verify your statements. OR ... are they based on misinformation? and misinterpertation? --- Do you not have an obligation to make sure the behavior your support is based on truth? I know of no rational person who claims 911 was the work of Iraq.... not even Mr Bush.

If we, as a nation and as Catholics, supported and followed the teachings of Pope John Paul in regard to life (ALL ISSUES including the death penalty and war) we could start to call ourselves followers of Christ.
