Ben, you voiced my thoughts exactly pinning the failure primarily on the bishops. I’m not only embarrassed to say I’m Catholic; I’m also feeling I can’t remain in an institution that’s so corrupt -- all of them on the top level. Like you said, they didn’t call one another to task and they should have. I understand the culture of clericalism that is described as the problem and this is what needs to change.
