How can the Catholic Church in the U.S. heal from the sex-abuse crisis?

Don’t worry too much SJP - scandals have surrounded our Church since its beginning - and its still here 2002 years later. I too noticed that other Christian denominations were quick to jump on the Catholic bashing bandwagon now they think they’ve got something to bash us with. Just remember, Our Lord came to save sinners and left us to means to carry on that work.
