Your quote of Bishop Sean O’Malley’s words were succinct, honest and open about the revised norms for action over clergy sex abuse. It greatly encouraged me, especially after the news this week left me with the idea that the Vatican had watered down the Dallas meeting’s proposed measures in dealing with clergy, to the point that maybe they would not be censured beyond a slap on the wrist. Thanks for your timely reporting!
