Christ established His Church for man, man was not created for the Church...Man was made for God and in order to find our way to God we were given the legitimate teachings of the Church in spite of the Priests who have rejected the leadings of the Holy Spirit
The Church that Jesus founded is the vehicle by which we will have communion with God no matter what evil or sinful men reject.
God is still served and glorified...the Mass still celebrates the death and Resurrection of Jesus done for all of us.
Yes forgiveness is necessary but in forgiving we do not condone evil acts....these acts must have consequences....to forgive and to love does not mean to condone.
