 St. Anthony Always Helps
Last October 9, 2009, a white and black striped dress appealed to me while I was strolling in SM. So I decided to fit it. Of course I had to remove my dress, my dangling silver earring and the necklace I was wearing so that I could see if he striped dress fit me. It did! So I bought it. I strolled some more. An hour later as I was about to go home, I realized that I left my necklace in the fitting room. That necklace is studded with semi-precious stones and it's so important to me because it is a souvenir of my trip in Hong Kong. I prayed hard to Saint Anthony that the same would be returned to me. It was! St. Anthony really makes wonders. He always does. In the office when we are looking for papers and folders, I just invoke his aid. And we find the lost articles!

 Medical Miracle
I have been praying the prayer to St. Anthony every day for my husband. We found out today that he does not have cancer or any other disease. He has some swollen lymph nodes that they can't explain way they are swollen. It was something that he came in contact with. He will have another scan in 6 months and if they are not any larger we will be released from the doctor. I truly believe that we had a miracle. I want to thank St. Anthony for his help with my husband. I continue to pray to him every day for other intentions and have told others to pray to him as well.

 'Always There for Me'
St. Anthony has always helped me to find lost items and has given me great hope and strength. The most recent help he gave me is when I could not find my car keys. I got in my car and reached in my purse and they weren't there. I went back in my house and searched. I emptied my purse 3 times. I went back to my car and sat my purse on the seat and searched my car. I prayed to St. Anthony to help me find my keys. I looked over at my purse and my keys were sitting on top of my purse.

Thank you St. Anthony once again for always being there for me.

 Healing
I've had difficulty with double vision and headaches for almost a year. I've had 2 MRIs, a lumbar puncture and I don't know how many blood tests. I've seen three neurologists, three eye doctors and they were unsure but believed my conditions was some type of "migraine variant" though I've never had migraine headaches prior to this year. I home-school young children (ages 10 and 9) and my youngest (age 7) has Down syndrome and I was very discouraged because there is a lot of work to do around here and this has been a very difficult trial.

I finished a novena to St. Anthony promising him a rosary, a Mass said in his honor at our parish (to be said in January 2010) and I gave a donation to a crisis pregnancy center in his honor and will continue to help the poor as I can. After the novena ended I went to a healing Mass on June 24th. The next morning the double vision returned for about one minute and I have not experienced it again. I think this is a miracle. I am presently decreasing the migraine medicine the doctors put me on which was not terribly helpful anyway.

It has been over six weeks and I want to thank St. Anthony. I thank God the healing I have received and for giving us such a friend in St. Anthony of Padua. May he continue to help us all live holy lives and get to heaven.

 Finder of Lost Luggage
Returning from a vacation this past spring, a friend and I were stranded because our connecting flight was canceled due to weather. We could not get a flight out for 2 days. My friend called some local relative and they agreed to come pick us up and allow us to stay in their house for the time. The only problem was that our luggage was still on course to be sent home. We went to the baggage office and asked if they could pull it for us and the woman behind the counter told us it was not possible. We persisted and she finally called someone in charge of luggage. She got off the phone and told us that there are many people waiting for luggage and since it is dark, raining, and there are thousands of bags, it could take 4 hours or longer. My friend and I went to sit by the carousel to wait. A woman walked by who had just got her luggage and I congratulated her. She told me that she had been waiting since 4:00--it was now after 9. I decided to say a prayer to St. Anthony that he would find our luggage and have it sent to us. I also texted my mom and brother asking them to do the same. 20 minutes later, we see our luggage come down the carousel. It is a huge airport and it probably took 20 minutes just to get the luggage from the terminal to the baggage claim area. I know that St. Anthony found it for us.

 Aid to Family Members
Thanks a ton to St. Anthony for my son's success in exams. I had done the 9-day Novena to St. Anthony specially for my son to clear in his 10th Std. Board Exams. He secured 77%. He has already got admission into a good Catholic college. Thanks also for bringing my husband’s cousin and his girlfriend together after they broke up some months back.

 Out of the Earth
A few years ago I had moved to a newly constructed apt. building, so new that the back driveway had not yet been paved over. I decided to bury a medal of Saint Anthony beneath the earth there, as a blessing on the property, before it was topped over with asphalt. Shortly after, it was.

About a year later, I was preparing to move again. The evening before the move I had everything packed up neatly for transport. There was nothing left out except what I needed in the morning. Before turning in, I was out on the back balcony and thought, well, the only thing left to pack up is Saint Anthony's medal out there under the driveway but that's impossible. The next morning I found Saint Anthony's medal sitting on top of one of the large taped-up boxes. It had earth packed in between the crevices of the medal, front and back as if plucked from the ground.

Thank you Saint Anthony!

I also thank Saint Anthony for two recent favors, quite amazing ones, for which I had promised, in thanksgiving for each, to give ten pounds of bread to the poor.

 Amazing Find
The most amazing thing happened today. About a week ago we had a bad rain storm and I went out to the street to clear the leaves away from the sewer. After I got back inside I relized I had lost my wedding band. I was very upset and my wife and I spent the next few days out by the sewer looking for it. I told my Mom and she mentioned I should pray to St. Anthony for help finding it. I did, and checked one more time with no luck. About a week later my mom decided to come and help me look. She was diving through the weeds on the side of the road saying she was praying to St. Anthony the whole time. Just as I tell her it's useless and we won't find it, she stepped onto the street, looked down and picked up my ring. It had appeared out of nowhere by her feet. I was amazed, as it was not there that whole time. We would have seen it sitting in the open like that. I was truly taken aback, so much so I had to share this story. It really was a miracle.

 More Than Luck
After a busy Saturday, my wife and I were swimming in our pool. At one point my wife realized one of her diamond earrings had fallen off. Twice we covered every square inch of the pool with no luck. Being life-long Catholics, we then prayed to St. Anthony. Since we had no idea when or where it came off, it was literally like looking for a needle in a haystack. We found the earring about an hour later close to some ivy by the edge of the pool. Thanks St. Anthony !! A neighor told me how lucky it was.. I told him he could call it luck, but I called it help from St. Anthony.

A Little Child Shall Lead Them
I am writing to share a blessed incident that my sister and I had recently involving the intercession of St. Anthony in the return of her "lost" dog. About four days ago my sister and her husband's 6-year-old Sheltie dog wandered away from their home because the electricity (which monitored the presence of their dogs and kept them within the electric fence that bordered their wooded property) had gone down during the night. When I called my sister she was beside herself with grief; "Mickey" had been gone 3 days and my sister feared the worst due to the fact that bears as well as mountain lions among other wild creatures lived in the surrounding woods of their rural home. They had phoned everyone they could think of, neighbors, friends, relatives, groups, organizations, dog warden, etc., and there were numerous people and children scouring the woods looking for Mickey to no avail. I tried to calm my sister by telling her that I was going to pray to St. Anthony and I recalled for her how our deceased sister had often invoked St. Anthony when we were children and she lost something and it always brought her successful results. Anyhow, the next day when I called my sister, I learned that Mickey was returned home the night before. I said, "Oh, praise God, St. Anthony came through!" I went on to tell her I was praying for St. Anthony to direct Mickey back to her home, and she said she was doing likewise and cannot unerstand why she did not think of that herself. She went on to tell me that Mickey exited the woods about 3 1/2 miles from home at the home of a couple with small children but would not go to the adults pressent. Instead Mickey walked directly to the smallest child present and the adults could not get over that, but at least then they could access the information on Mickey's collar and called my sister to say, "I think we have your dog here." I believe St. Anthony led that dog to that child, after he had been known to have great devotion to another child, the child Jesus. Thank you Lord, and St. Anthony.

 One Ring to Go
My wife had lost a diamond ring, a keepsake from a departed loved one. She had left it on the bed of our youngest daughter when she put her to sleep last night.

When she discovered the ring was missing this morning, my wife went right to the bed and began looking for the ring. Four hours later and a completely overhauled bedroom produced no sign of the ring.

I went through the kitchen garbage can in the event that the ring may have been tossed when my wife threw out my child's pull-up diaper, but found no ring. I then went on this very website and read some testimonials to the power of Saint Anthony. I asked my wife to say a prayer to him, asking for his aid.

I went outside to the deck and began asking, "Dear Saint Anthony, to thee I pray, help me find the ring today." I re-entered the kitchen and an overwhelming feeling made me look in the garbage can again. On top of all the trash was a cardboard to-go container from a restaurant that my wife had thrown away last night. I can"t explain why, but I felt that I should open it. There, in the corner of the container, buried under some french fries, was my wife's ring.

 Not Even Looking
I LOST A BOX OF JEWELRY THAT BELONGED TO A CO-WORKER. IT WAS MISPLACED FOR QUITE A WHILE i was very upset to tell her; besides I would have had to pay her for it. I PRAYED TO ST. ANTHONY AND THEN I DECIDED TO DO THE 13 TUESDAYS. I HAD A COUPLE OF TUESDAYS LEFT AND I JUST ABOUT GIVEN UP WHEN ONE NIGHT I WENT OUT TO MY CAR. I WASN'T EVEN LOOKING AND I FOUND A BOX IN MY TRUNK AND THERE IT WAS. THANK-YOU ST ANTHONY AND THE LORD.

 Tiny Hiding Place
I was cleaning a birthstone ring my mother had given me when all of a sudden, it slipped from my hand and fell. I was in a small area of the kitchen and so scoured every inch of it, looking in every conceivable place for my ring. It was nowhere to be found. At my wit's end, I decided to ask St. Anthony to help me find it. Within seconds, I looked in a tiny, little cordial glass I keep on my windowsill. I have two of them and I put small flowers in them from my children. There, inside the tiny glass, under the flower, was my ring, barely small enough to fit inside and so, turned on its side. Thank you very, very much, St. Anthony.

 Bringing Back a Goddaughter
I want to thank St. Anthony for finding my god-daughter for me. There had been a misunderstanding between us and we had not spoken for months. Today we talked and we are ok. St. Anthony answered my prayer to bring her back and to clear up things between us.

 Mobile Charger
I had lost my mobile phone, but the charger for the same was being used by me for the new mobile phone which I purchased. The new mobile phone had a charger but I was very comfortable with the old charger. One morning when I went to charge my phone, I tried looking out for my old charger but I just could not find it. I looked for it everywhere, searched all the places in my house, but just could not find it. This happened in the month of April or maybe May 2009, I am not that sure. So I felt very bad about it. So I started charging my phone with the new charger. I just could not understand where it must have gone. I prayed once to St. Anthony (how funny I felt to pray to him for such a silly thing) for this old charger. Actually this charger of the mobile phone which I lost was a gift from my brother. So I was quite sentimental about it. Now in the month of June the Novenas to St. Anthony has started in one of our churches in India (from June 4th to June 13th). I have done all the nine novenas and I prayed for many special intentions.

You won't believe it; this morning, (June 12, 2009) i.e., the a day before the feast day of St. Anthony (June 13th), I got up as usual in the morning attended the Novena to St. Anthony. I came back from the Novenas, did all my household chores and got ready for work. Then I took my phone and saw that it needed to be charged. So I opened the cupboard safe (this is the place where I keep my charger), I could not find it there. I again thought my new charger is misplaced. I looked for it at another place, where we usually keep our other accessores, and I saw three chargers there. I was really stunned and shocked as to how and from where this old charger of mine has suddenly appeared. I could not believe my eyes One charger is my son's which he currently uses, the second one was the old charger which was misplaced and the third one was my new charger. I immediately asked my son as to where he found the old charger. He told me he had found it in one of the boxes inside the safe. I was really shocked because I really don’t know whether I had kept it in the box. This is St. Anthony’s miracle and I will never forget this incident.

I am ever so grateful to St. Anthony because a similar thing happened last year exactly the same time but then it was a blue clip which was found on St. Anthony’s feast day (June 13, 2008). My faith in him has increased tremendously.

 Anthony Points the Way
My daughter was looking for a shirt she had to have for cheerleading practice. She had seached the entire house and still couldn't find it. I said a quick prayer to St. Anthony to help me find the shirt. I stopped and listened and he pointed the way to her room and to her bed. Sure enough, the shirt had been tangled in her sheets.

 It's in the Bag
Yesterday while making dinner for my fiance, I noticed the diamond on my engagement ring had fallen out and was missing. I was telling a good friend of mine and she told me of the prayer to St. Anthony. Once I got back home I recited the prayer and searched. My fiance took apart the sink drain and we searched till bedtime. The following morning I put an empty bag in the vacuum and cleaned the living room floor. As I vacuumed I recited the prayer again. I heard three distinct noises and decided to look at the bag. There in the bag was the diamond I lost. Thank You St. Anthony for answering my prayer.

 Special Thanks
We had clicked photographs during Christmas time and in the month of Jan 09. We developed these snaps only a few weeks back, say in the beginning of May 2009. After going through the snaps, I kept the snaps in the cupboard along with some other papers. One day, my sister came home along with her son to stay at our place. She wanted to see the photographs because in those snaps, my husband’s cousin's fiancée’s snaps were also there. Basically she wanted to see both those girls. I told her just wait for a sec, I will show you the snaps. I opened the cupboard, and I went for the packet in which the snaps were kept. To my disgust, only the negatives were there and the photographs were missing. I was so upset that I did not know what to do. I frantically searched everywhere along with my old photographs, pulled out everything but just could not find it. I was really disappointed. I told her I am feeling so bad and I kept praying to St. Anthony all this while. This happened on 31st May 2009. I even went on Tuesday to St. Anthony’s church and prayed for the photographs. In fact I said that if I did not find it I will develop the negatives which were there. Three days later in the evening of 3rd June 2009, my children were playing a game called Name, place, animal, thing. They wanted me too to play with them. In fact, I wanted to play some other game, but they insisted on playing the game they wanted. Finally, I relented and asked them if they wanted me to play name, place, then please give me a pen, paper and a book on which I can play. Immediately, my 9-year-old daughter got up, gave me a pen, a paper and a story book on which I could keep the paper and write. Since the story book had a soft cover, I opened the book and guess what? The page that I opened had those photographs which were missing. I was stunned, zapped and shocked. I immediately thanked St. Anthony and even told my children to thank St. Anthony. The best thing is this happened just before the 9 days Novena to St. Anthony could begin. (It is beginning on the 4th June to 13th June). Look how St. Anthony does wonders. I told my husband this is a miracle and even told him had it not been for this game my children wanted me to play, I would have not found the photographs. Thanks even to my children who insisted on me playing the game of Name, place, animal and thing. Once again thanks to St. Anthony. He always has a special place in our family.
