Sluggish, futuristic tale in which a widowed psychologist (George Clooney) arrives on board an imperiled space station only to find his late wife (Natascha McElhone), whom a rattled crew member (Viola Davis) insists is just a clone they must destroy before returning to Earth. Director Steven Soderbergh's strikingly minimalist story of doom and second chances raises thorny metaphysical questions but fails to engage beyond its initially intriguing premise. A shadowy sexual encounter, brief rear nudity and off-screen violence. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops classification is A-III -- adults. The Motion Picture Association of America rating is PG-13 -- parents are strongly cautioned. Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13.
