Tedious animated feature in which a scientist creates three perfect little girls with superhero powers who help save their town from an evil monkey intent on destroying it. The brainless story in director Craig McCracken's film, which is based on the cartoon series, is devoid of any wit, feebly offering a message on tolerance and acceptance while burning up much time on monotonous, inane action sequences. Some cartoon violence and menace with a few bad-mannered expressions. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops classification is A-II -- adults and adolescents. The Motion Picture Association of America rating is PG -- parental guidance suggested.
