We let Web Catholic fall out of our publication
lineup during recent months due to staff changes here at St. Anthony Messenger Press.
Were back now, and will resume our regular monthly schedule.
We know that one of the toughest jobs of the parish or
diocesan webmaster is to come up with compelling, fresh seasonal content that
keeps your visitors coming back for more. We hope that you all are finding
ways to place appropriate local information on your Web sites. We promise
to continue, as always, to provide a variety of relevant Catholic seasonal
features to you, free of charge, for use on your site. Its a win-win, as
Ive said before: You get links that keep people coming back to your site;
we get to reach out to people who come to our site through yours. Cast deeply into
the net, said the Holy Father. Were trying to help you to do so.
If you havent linked to it yet, you might want to consider our Advent-to-Epiphany feature. The graphic to the right will take you to For Webmasters Only
on our Web site to help you test the feature and pick up the code for your site. This
year were featuring Day-by-Day reflections for Advent from Catholic Update
author Elizabeth Bookser Barkley.
You can also place a beautiful St. Nicholas e-card link on your site
that will take your visitors to a number of Advent and Christmas free e-card offerings from
our CatholicGreetings.org.
Peace and all good!

Franciscan
Radio
The Internet is gradually becoming a listening place! What better tool for the
new evangelization than a radio Web site that does not
depend upon individual radio stations for distribution? This site, from the same
Franciscans who bring you AmericanCatholic.org,
features the Catholic Communications Campaigns American Catholic Radio,
a weekly 30-minute program about the basics of
the Catholic faith. Youll also find Franciscan Father Greg Friedmans
Sunday Soundbites and other audio features from St. Anthony Messenger Press.
