The eyes of much of the world are on the Catholic Church now as we bid farewell to Pope John Paul II and pray for the Spirits guidance in choosing a new pope. AmericanCatholic.org has been able to provide lots of fine content throughout this time: some from St. Anthony Messenger articles and others including the daily stories weve received under a licensing arrangement from the bishops own Catholic News Service. We encourage you to link to our feature in memory of the late pope, using our button on your site.
Meanwhile, were scrambling to provide up-to-date coverage on the papal conclave, which begins Monday, April 18. Were happy to announce that author and journalist Paul Wilkes will be providing daily reports from the Vatican to AmericanCatholic.org. We also will have daily reports from Catholic News Service, and our own backgrounders on the selection of a pope. You can use our link to keep your site timely.
Dont forget: Were still in the Easter season until Pentecost Sunday (May 15). The link weve provided for our Easter season feature will automatically change to an Easter to Pentecost button on April 25.
Finally, Earth Day is on April 22. Link to our Earth Day feature to help your visitors see that Catholics are called to be stewards of creation.
These are busy days. God bless you!

p.s. Because we had to move up the production of this newsletter, we were unable to bring you Parish Site of the Month and Worth a Click. These features will return in the next issue in May. |
