Upcoming Programs
Advent
The Advent season is upon us, and in our liturgies we hear the voices of Isaiah and John the Baptist. These two biblical prophets help us prepare the way for Christ. In the spirit of the season, we want to help your listeners learn more about the Bible.
“Exploring Our Faith” visits with Franciscan Father Richard Rohr, known to many for his audio programs on the great themes of Scripture, and Kimberly Hahn, author, lecturer and Bible study leader, based at the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology in Steubenville, Ohio. Both guests will help listeners connect with the Bible in ways that will help your understanding of God’s Word in our lives.
“Living Faith” producer Judy Zarick brings us two guests whose witness stretches across national, economic and religious boundaries. Chiara Kovarik, journeyed to Pakistan in 2001 when she was at Convent of the Visitation School, then wrote a book about her experience meeting Muslim women there—an encounter that changed her life. Pam Schoessling directs campus ministry at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She describes a ministry her students do at a local homeless shelter.
Help your listeners focus their “Advent waiting” with inspiring content from American Catholic Radio!
Father Greg Friedman, O.F.M.
