Upcoming Programs
Who Is Jesus?
Our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, recently published a new book
entitled simply Jesus of Nazareth. In honor of this event, American Catholic
Radio, over the next couple of programs, will be dealing with the theme “Who
is Jesus?” To help answer that question, we’ll talk to Archbishop John Foley,
who until recently headed the Pontifical Council for Social Communications at the Vatican.
Your listeners are probably familiar with the archbishop from his annual commentary on
the televised papal Christmas midnight Mass. He talks with producer John Feister about
why the pope wrote his new book. John will also talk with New Testament scholar Jesuit
Father Daniel Harrington.
“Living Faith” producer Judy Zarick will talk with a researcher
named Dennis Culhane, whose work studying the homeless helped to shape his Catholic faith,
and with Lauren Higgins and her son James about the role of faith in their lives. James,
age seven, is a daily communicant and knows an incredible amount about the Catholic faith.
We try to stay timely with our features and guests, delivering Catholic
faith and information your listeners can rely on. We’re pleased to team with you
in the ministry of Catholic radio!
Fr. Greg Friedman, O.F.M.
