Our American Catholic Radio lineup this month includes a high-powered list of Catholic celebrities! Our sponsoring Franciscan ministry, St. Anthony Messenger Press, enjoys many relationships across the Catholic publishing and broadcasting world with authors, educators and spiritual leaders. Through these relationships, we’re able to welcome to our microphone people who are known to your audience through radio and print.

To begin, ACR celebrates Father’s Day with a special Catholic radio guest talking about fatherhood and faith. Dr. Ray Guarendi is familiar to listeners across the country for his popular call-in program. He’ll visit with Judy Zarick on our “Living Faith” segment to share his experience and his beliefs as a Catholic dad.

Fr. Ronald Rolheiser, a Missionary Oblate of Mary, is a best-selling author on spirituality. The Holy Longing and The Restless Heart are two of his books, and he writes a weekly online column as well. He’ll join John Feister on “Exploring our Faith” to talk about prayer.

Norbertine Fr. Alfred McBride is an old friend of ours here at St. Anthony Messenger Press. A prolific author and experienced educator, Fr. McBride has written a new book for us, A Short History of the Mass. Combining storytelling and scholarship, the book is a treasury of information and inspiration. Fr. Al will visit on “Exploring Our Faith” with John Feister.
