Holy Week and Easter
Peace!
Hosting American Catholic Radio (ACR) fulfills a longtime
dream for me. I can bring together my enthusiasm for the Good News and communicate it to
our audiences on the radio and the Web. What helps fuel my mission here is my “other
job”—my work as an inner-city priest. This time of year, things are busy in
my parish—the celebrations of Holy Week and the “Easter Triduum” are
the most important celebrations of the Church year. We talk about priesthood and about
one of the celebrations of Holy Week—the Chrism Mass—on our current pair of ACR programs.
I wish you, your families and your listeners a joyous Easter celebration!
Father Greg Friedman, O.F.M.
