Upcoming Programs
Lent 2007
American Catholic Radio continues our special series to enhance
your listeners appreciation of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
and its connection to the Lenten season. In the Living Faith, Judy Zarick interviews
Shawn Reedy, one of the Elect preparing for Baptism at the Easter Vigil, and Jane Bach,
a convert from Judaism, who is now a member of her parishs RCIA team. The Catholic
Treasures for these episodes relate to the Third and Fourth Sundays of Lent, when
special ritual prayers are offered for the Elect during Sunday Mass. And in Exploring
Our Faith, John Feister talks with two Catholic authors about two of the pillars
of Lenten practice, almsgiving and fasting.
May God continue to bless your Lenten observance!
Father Greg Friedman, O.F.M.
