NEW Catholic Radio/Streaming Programs E-newsletter
A free e-newsletter for broadcasters and streaming webmasters is being
started by Franciscan Radio, a project of St. Anthony Messenger Press, publisher of St.
Anthony Messenger, one of the nation’s oldest and most popular Catholic magazines.
This new biweekly e-newsletter will inform broadcasters and webmasters about upcoming
content on our half-hour weekly, American Catholic Radio, our 90-second Saint
of the Day, Sunday Soundbites and our new Lenten Radio Retreat (see below).

Broadcasters: Catholic Radio Program for Lent
Franciscan Radio is pleased to announce a new half-hour offering, “Lenten
Radio Retreat,” which is available, free of charge, from the Catholic Communication Campaign.
There are six English and six Spanish editions of the show—one for each Sunday of Lent,
which begins on Ash Wednesday, March 1. Each episode, hosted by one of our 12 bishop-retreat
guides, features a short reflection, music, question-and-answer segment, and several prayers
led by the bishop.
Free broadcast master copies of the show on disc in WAV format are
available from the Catholic Communication
Campaign of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
