I have been a catechetical leader in the role of DRE and Director of Faith Formation for over 25 years. Now, the direction of that call changes as I serve as Catechetical and Evangelization Advisor for St Anthony Messenger Press / Franciscan Communications. Serving in four parishes in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati has brought me a wealth of experience that I hope to share with you as we network together sharing our wisdom, wit and faith. In addition, I am teacher and preacher as I travel throughout our country and the world giving parish missions, retreats and workshops. I have also served as associate director of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Family Life Office, Executive Director of Isaiah Ministry and member of the preaching team of DeSales Resource and Ministries. I have written several books that offer support to families and catechist as we continue to make church in this challenging time.

I'm an Editor and Producer in the Electronic Media Department at St. Anthony Messenger Press/Franciscan Communications. I can list a variety of work experiences on my resume; I've ministered as a parish catechist, Catholic-school teacher, youth retreat team member, and Director of Religious Education at a small rural parish (without a school) and later at a large suburban parish (with a school). I am battle-worn, budget conscious and committed to sharing the Good News—just like each of you. My work at St. Anthony Messenger Press draws on my life and work experiences as well as my B.A. in Religious Studies/Education and M.A. in Religious Studies/Pastoral Family Studies. Each month I'll offer media resource suggestions related to this newsletter's theme. "It is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard" (Acts 4:20).

I am St. Anthony Messenger Press’ Director of Marketing, Sales and Internet. For the last 10 years, I worked as an online marketing consultant for various publishers, non-profits and retailers. I have extensive experience in Christian and Catholic publishing. I received a Bachelors degree of communications from the University of Michigan. My husband and I have been an active FOCCUS couple in our parishes and also work with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s Family Life Office at their monthly pre-cana weekends. We are raising an active son and are challenged every day to share our faith with him. Each month I will share with you the "Sowing Sampler." Like the Sower in Mark 4:3-9, we're called to proclaim the Word to all—not just to the young or to newcomers. I'll focus on helping you find resources that will enhance your catechetical ministry, helping you bring the Word to life in your parish and in your community.
