	St. Nicholas (Dec. 6) "Let’s not forget the real St. Nicholas, who, like all the saints, points to Jesus."
	Immaculate Conception (Dec. 8) "O Father, you prepared the Virgin Mary to be the worthy mother of your Son.... Help us by her prayers, to live in your presence without sin. Amen."
	St. Juan Diego (Dec. 9) "Juan Diego stands as a bridge between the worlds of the powerful and the powerless. He was asked to participate in the divine plan, and he said 'yes.'"
	Our Lady of Guadalupe (Dec. 12) "She was the beginning of what we can truly call the New World, where men and women of all backgrounds could live and work in peace."
	Virgen de Guadalupe (Dec. 12) "Hijito mío, el más pequeño: no te aflijas por nada; ¿acaso no estás en mi regazo? ¿acaso no estoy yo aquí, que soy tu madre?"
