Israel's ambassador to the Holy See joined Oblate Father Thomas B. Curran, president of Jesuit-run Rockhurst University in Kansas City, in laying a wreath Oct. 9 at a plaque on campus that pays tribute to the more than 150 Jesuits who died at the hands of the Nazis.

 
St. Paul, Minneapolis Parishes to Merge, Form Clusters

ST. PAUL, Minn. (CNS) -- Before pastors had an opportunity to explain during Masses Oct. 16-17 how a strategic plan for the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis would affect their parishes, local media mistakenly announced the closure of some churches in northeast Minneapolis.
